- 12:21Other voice Now, the protests that you saw on October 8th, were they mostly leftists or were they
- 12:26Other voice m- uh, some Muslims?
- 12:28I would say, from what I can tell, uh, uh, they're definitely leftists 'cause there
- 12:33were, uh, uh, um, there were a lot of white people there.
- 12:36Other voice Yeah. Right.
- 12:38And but there were Muslims as well, and you can, you can kinda, uh, uh, tell that.
- 12:44I think sort of it's an interesting, um, relationship these two
- 12:51groups have, what's called the, you know, the Red-Green Alliance, and-
- 12:56Other voice Yeah
- 12:56... uh, it's very real. Um, it is, uh, the, the
- 13:03progressives provide the moral vocabulary, but the
- 13:09Muslims provide oftentimes the narrative, the, the Palestinian
- 13:17cause and so on. A-a-and, and, and so I think they have the
- 13:24same goal kind of.
- 13:27Other voice Mm-hmm.
- 13:28But I think, uh, e-eventually, uh, they're gonna have to come to an impasse,
- 13:35and once they quote, "won" or, or, or whatever, then, uh, they're not gonna be
- 13:41continuing allies.
- 13:43Other voice Okay.
- 13:44A-a-and Islam will win that battle.
